Under Regulation 37 of MARPOL Annex I, oil tankers over 150 gross tonnage and all ships exceeding 400 gross tonnage must possess an approved
Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP). To comply with this regulation, vessels under 400 feet require a 7-barrel (1,100L) Marine Spill Kit,
while those over 400 feet need a 12-barrel (1,900L) Marine Spill Kit.
Our Spill Station Marine SOPEP kits are designed and developed for conformity with these IMO / MARPOL / OPA 90 regulations.
Additionally, we’ve developed the 4-barrel (550L) Marine Spill Kit, providing versatility to disperse 1,100L of absorbency across various locations
onboard for comprehensive spill preparedness. These kits include a range of oil-only absorbents that repel water and work on water & land surfaces
as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools to effectively address shipboard spills and maintain compliance.
Our spill kits are customisable and wheel kits can even be installed onto the storage containers for easy deployment and mobility on deck.
Kit contents can also be modified or added to suit your operational requirements including oil dispersants, degreasers, jet sprayers, squeegees, mops,
rubber boots and respirators to name a few.
